1. Eggcellent Eatery

How do you eat yours? In a sandwich or with soldiers it would appear, thanks to peculiar pop-up, the Cadbury Crème de la Creme Egg Café. Its menu (yes, we’re talking about the Creme Egg toasties!) will certainly scramble your brain, but it’s a cracking example of conceptual cuisine, and a fitting tribute to Britain’s favourite fondant.

2. Bunkers, Birdies & Bubbly

A little birdie told us there’s a new crazy clubhouse in town, as urban golf sensation, Swingers, is set to take permanent residency within a WWII bunker beneath the Gherkin in April. Putting skills leaving you lacking? Then turn your attention to Pizza Pilgrims or Patty & Bun for a deserved time out.

3. Come Fly with Me

Roll up, roll up, we’re off to the Gorilla Circus to enrol at their Flying Trapeze School. You with us? According to their expert team, you’re never too old (the current record is 78!), nor too young to try, so you’ll have to find a better excuse if the thought of attempting their Xavier Knee Hang Catch has you feeling harried in your harness.

4. Toilet Humour

It’s coffee in the karzee as we head down into the bowels of London’s underground at public WC-come-cafe, Attendant. Sit yourself down by the original – yet restored – Victorian urinals, as you sip on their house-roasted beans and steamed Somerset milk.
