1. The ultimate pillow fight

With every New Year comes a new wave of nostalgia. Embrace the big kid in you and get up close and chaotic with thousands of fellow fun-seekers at the International Pillow Fight. It’s not every day you get to see Trafalgar Square transformed into a feather-fest - or to bash a stranger and get away with it, for that matter - so make this a must!
It’s point? Simply to unite, have fun, and send a ripple of happiness across the globe - and who are we to argue with that?

2. Spoilt for choice

Want an afternoon pit-stop that doesn’t involve tablecloths and towers of scones? Then head to hipster favourite Cereal Killer Café, for a bowlful of madness. Choose your cereal - there’s 120 of them on offer from around the world so you may be there a while! - then choose your milk, before adding your favourite toppings. Or if you just can’t choose head for their speciality - a cereal cocktail. The Sticky Monkey is a banoffee-lover’s dream.

Do something that scares you

3. Climb a landmark

Face your fears with a daredevil climb over the top of the iconic O2. Suspended 52 metres above the ground, you’ll get up close and personal with London’s skyline, and be rewarded with unrivalled views, a hefty dose of adrenalin, and a much welcomed mid-way pause, to snap the sights and catch your breath.

4. Soar across London

If that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, you could always travel to or from the O2 by cable car, The Emirates Air Line. Sightsee from the sky as you soar over the Cutty Sark, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Royal Observatory, in this speedy 6 minute tour.
