Breathe in the intoxicating evening atmosphere, quite literally, at the newest craze to hit the Capital, Alcoholic Architecture. With inebriating clouds of liquor saturating your surroundings, you’ve got 50 minutes on the clock to inhale and absorb, as you take in your usual tipple through your lungs (and eyes!), in this mind-altering, mind-blowing, outlandish experience.

3. Get down and dirty

For those looking for a more conventional cocktail experience, head to Dirty Martini for clever classics such as their Cucumber and Dill Sours, or Londoners’ favourite, the Old Fashioned. They also boast the happiest happy hour in town, as well as a Distinctively Dirty NYE bash, so prepared to get it on at this fun-loving favourite.

4. Bring your own bottle

You’ve heard of BYOB, but have you heard of BYOC? Before you berate this novel, alcohol-free newcomer, let us assure you that there can be an advantage to an alcoholfree cocktail haunt. Still not convinced? Then pick up a bottle of your favourite tipple en route, pop yourself up at the bar, and watch on as your personal mixologist combines with an extensive menu of juices, syrups, herbs, spices and salts, as your night is shaken and stirred into a frenzy, with an impressive chain of customised cocktail showstoppers. http://www.byoc.co.uk

5. We’re up all night to get lucky

It might actually take you all night to find the place, but for those who manage to outsmart the mystery, there’s fun in store at secret hotspot, Call Me Mr Lucky. The rebellious little sister to London’s beloved Breakfast Club, this cliquey establishment requires a secret password (it’s “I’m here to get lucky” by the way), for your right of passage into the best party in town. Revelry and riotousness are the themes du jour, as well as their infamous and hard-hitting House Shot, laced with tequila, jalapeño pickles and coriander, for when a simple sauvignon blanc just isn’t hitting the spot.

6. Pop-in on London’s fashionable pop-ups

Satisfy your hunger for London’s favourite street food at popular cult pop-up, Street Feast. Mingle with the hipster crowd, as fashionable Londoners descend to sample the coolest culinary delights on offer, from the likes of You Doughnut!, Yum Bun, Tequila Treehouse, B.O.B.’s Lobster, Mama’s Jerk Station and Scoopsy Daisy.

7. Embrace the unknown

Everyone loves a secret, especially when it involves popping in on the flatmates at number 68 Notting Hill Gate, who eagerly await your arrival from behind the mysterious (although rather conspicuous!) Little Yellow Door. With a drinks menu inspired by London’s stereotypical house-party reprobates, sip on a Fridge Raider or a Corner Shop Bandit, in homage to graceless comrades everywhere, as you eat, chat and play, in the sitting room of your new best friends.

8. Whatever floats your boat

Why wait until the summer to get your groove on? Party, Ibiza style, from the Thames itself, at the Pukka Up New Year’s Eve Boat Party. Join the beautiful, party-loving crowd, and see London’s famous fireworks from the best seats in town. But the festivities don’t end there. Die-hard party animals can dance through ’til dawn, at the super-cool Great Suffolk Street Warehouse after-party. A good night’s sleep in preparation is highly recommended!

9. On the bounce

28 ping pong tables, 2 London locations, 1 incredible night. It’s time to crank up the energy at high-impact establishment, Bounce. This über-cool urban phenomenon clashes luxury with edgy, action with chilling out, and working up a sweat with working out what to choose from its delicious menu, for the ultimate hybrid night out. And as the lights go off on 2015, here the lights are very much getting it on, as it’s ready, set, glow into the New Year, with its UV NYE party.
